Photomaps: Breast Cancer Screening among Women with Physical Disabilities:
Through work funded by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and The Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida developed Photomapping to allow women with physical disabilities to visually and verbally document, and relay to others, the factors that make it easier or harder for them to seek and obtain regular breast cancer screenings. The Photomaps created by four women can be viewed at the website below, and CME credit is available for healthcare professionals and radiology healthcare professionals.
